Once again Walker & the Butanes hit the nail on the head with a dynamite collection of deep Memphis soul.
Walker is a vetern soul singer who recorded for a number of labels back in the day including CHECKER and GOLDWAX. These new recordings (all originals by guitarist/ producer CURTIS OBEDA) are stellar examples of modern soul looking back to the classic sound.
